Dr. Sadhana Gupta is a Senior Consultant (Obstetrician & Gynaecology) at Jeevan Jyoti Hospital & Medical Research Centre. She is also an Hon Consultant at LN Mishra NER Railway Hospital, Gorakhpur.Dr. Gupta has achieved some remarkable feats during her academic years by bagging Gold Medals for ' Best Student of MBBS', 'Best Female Student of MBBS' and 'Best Postgraduate Student'. She carried forward this award winning habit in her professional life as well by receiving prestigious awards such as 'Best Female Doctor of UP' and 'Prize for Distinguished Community Services by Federation of Obst & Gynaec societies of India (FOGSI),Her distinguishing career gave her opportunities to hold various reputed positions such as 'Secretary and President post of Gorakhpur Obs & Gynaec Society', and 'Chairman of Safe Motherhood Committee nominated by members of FOGSI'. She has represented FOGSI in various important meeting like HIV/AIDS meet at New Delhi, UNFPA SAFOG workshop for MDG Goal at Sri Lanka, Haryana Rural Health Mission, 66th Summit of WHO Regional Meet at SEARO in New Delhi, and WHO Meeting on Quality Improvement in Reproductive Maternal Neonatal Adolescent Health at Delhi. Dr. Gupta is an active member of FOGSI's committees of Clinical Research, HIV/AIDs, Clinical research, and an Adolescent Health Family Welfare. She was nominated as a Regional faculty for FOGSI PHFI Certified Course of Contraception in 2013.
